Shout out to my Peeps

Perhaps the only positive byproduct of the over-commercialization of Easter is Just Born, Inc.’s Peeps — the semi-stale marshmallow candy that resemble bunnies, birds and other cute shapes depending on the holiday. If you are like me, you don’t need a holiday to enjoy their sugary goodness, but hey, some folks need a reason to give each other gifts and be nice to each other as well. To each his own, I suppose. Idol burnout?

Television has gotten bad. We knew it was going to get bad back in October, when the writers went on strike and stayed on strike. Our favorite shows, like “Law & Order” and “The Office,” not to mention night shows like David Letterman and Conan O’Brien, were affected almost immediately.
